Offering a first class Owners' and Trainers' experience.

 

With dedicated facilities and 94 stables on-site, we ensure our owners and trainers are well looked after. 

 

We ensure a balanced programme of races throughout the season, giving Owners' the chance to run horses of all levels of experience here at Wincanton. More details of this can be found in our Online Programme Book.

Badge allocation

 

Our badge allocation for Owners is:

  • 6 badges for a sole owners
  • 8 badges for a syndicate or partnership

 

These badges will entitle each bearer access to the Owners & Trainers bar which serves complimentary hot and soft drinks throughout the day. A meal voucher will be given to each ticket holder which will provide one complimentary meal.  Please note that we are now running cashless bars across our site. Any additional alcoholic drinks you would like to purchase will need to be paid by card.

 

Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer further owners badges than the above allocation due to capacity restrictions.

 

Syndicate Managers; if you require more than 8 tickets please contact Hannah for see availability for General Admission tickets.  Please note that these General Admission tickets will not give the bearer access to the Owners & Trainers Bar, Parade Ring or Winners Enclosure.

 

Please note we are happy to provide general admission tickets to owners whose horses do not declare. Please contact our owners liaison who can organise this with you.

 

ROA members without a runner are also entitled to two general admission tickets per raceday.

Owners & Jockeys Abandonment Policy

As part of The Jockey Club’s ongoing commitment to participants, should racing be abandoned in the middle of a card due to extreme weather challenges or issues with the ground, JCR will look to offer a one off, ‘good will’ payment to owners and jockeys to cover costs.
