Alice Fox-Pitt
Adam ShepPArd
Adam has a lifelong love of horse racing, particularly jumps racing and has had a number of horses in training. He has travelled the world to enjoy horse racing in most of the major racing countries but thinks the atmosphere of country jumps racing in the UK and Ireland is second to none, particularly at Wincanton.
Married to Sue with three adult sons, Adam has held senior management roles in a number of major Japanese & American technology companies, in addition to starting his own successful technology company, in a career spanning over 40 years
Chris Braithwaite
Customer & Commercial Leader at Channel 4, and has been there twenty years after a decade at ITV. He is responsible for maximising advertising and sponsorship revenues for the channel with media agencies and clients directly. He was heavily involved in the development of bookmaker revenues when Channel 4 had the terrestrial horse racing rights, and the sponsorship with Dubai Tourism.
He has long been a fan of racing – national hunt predominantly – and his recent move to Ditcheat in Somerset was a happy connection to the Nicholls training yard, and subsequently on the committee at Wincanton . Chris is married to Laura, and has three children.
Camilla Wakely
Camilla Wakeley has been a Director of the Wincanton Racecourse Committee for the past two years and lives locally. She brings a wealth of experience in events and fundraising, alongside a longstanding involvement in racing and eventing.
Her early career as a chef for a high-end accountancy firm sparked her strong interest in hospitality, which she continues to apply at the racecourse. Beyond her role at Wincanton, Camilla has successfully raised a substantial sum of money through various fundraising efforts. She receives great support from her husband Alex and two children Ben and Amber who regularly will be seen at Wincanton.
