Local producers showcase at the Warwickshire Food & Drink Raceday

Our first race meeting of the season is returning bigger and better for 2019, now across two days on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th September.

Enjoy the flavour of Warwickshire’s finest small and emerging food and drink producers at the first ever Warwickshire Food and Drink Raceday.

Watch the races, enjoy cooking demonstrations from leading local chefs and sample the marvellous tastes created by the best local food and beverage producers.

Local cheese producers, Fowlers of Earlswood have been producing traditional Derby cheeses for over fourteen generations dating back to 1670. With twenty textures and flavours and a range of maturation from four weeks to four years, there is something for everyone.

To accompany a regional cheese it has to be a local produced wine from Clive’s Wines in Staffordshire. Clive’s Wines are solely made from fermented fruit and showcase the local produced fruits such as Gooseberries, Raspberries, Elderflower and Rhubarb.

For natural and botanical flavours, Moores of Warwick produce a range of premium Gin’s covering 12 flavours to give a crisp and fresh taste.

If you are looking for an alternative spirit with a unique taste, The Sweet Potato Spirit Company push the boundaries with taste and texture. With a range of spirits, including Vodka, Gins, Spiced Rum and selection of flavours of Moonshine there is certainly plenty to choose from.

Hook Norton Brewery have been producing Beer for over 170 years and their range of quality Cask Ales, Keg Beers and Ciders showcase the history of the brewery.

An afternoon treat from The Cake Alchemist provides a range of cakes that don’t compromise on taste but are made to suit any special dietary requirements. Recipes can be tailored for Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Nut Free and for any other specific allergies or requirements.

For those who have sweet tooth and fancy something chocolatey, Norma Jean Bakery will be showcasing their Chocolatier and Patisserie skills. You can’t have cake without tea or coffee and Elements Coffee combine high quality coffee with high quality service.
