We are now on sale for the 19/20 season

Blog 10th July 2019 Warwick

Throughout the summer at Warwick Racecourse, we cannot help but look ahead to when racing returns on Monday 23 – Tuesday 24 September for The Heart of England Two-Day Meeting.

The Racing TV Grand Season Opener returns bigger and better than last year and is certainly one not to be missed with enclosure tickets starting from £10. The following day is The Warwickshire Food & Drink Raceday where you will be able to enjoy the flavours of over 30 of the finest small and emerging food and drink producers from the local area.

With racing at the heart of the Warwickshire community, we welcome local racing fans for a Thursday afternoon of thrilling racing at The Autumn Meeting.

Icons are not only made on the race track and every year on Sporting Icon Day, we celebrate sporting stars with special guests from the sporting world.  In 2016 we hosted multi-Olympic Gold medal winning showjumper, Nick Skelton and in 2017, we welcomed Rugby World Cup winner, Mike Tindall. Last year we welcomed former England footballing legends, Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock and John Barnes who hosted a business networking brunch, a Q&A and assisted General Manager Andre Klein in providing all attendees with some live chances for the day’s racing that followed.

Could this year’s Icon have the heart of Three Lions or be an English Rose? Sign up to our newsletter here to be the first to find out.

As we navigate our way through the season and further into the winter months, our Winter Warmer race meeting is the ideal way to get rid of those winter blues. Make the most of your day with us on Wednesday 20th November and book on to our Horses for Courses tour race for an insider’s knowledge on our wonderful course. This tour is available for all racedays and takes place an hour before the first race but, be sure to book in advance via our website.

The festivities will be under way at our Christmas at the Races meeting on Thursday 12th December and what better place for an early Christmas get together.

The last day of racing of 2019 is our New Year’s Eve raceday. With live music, great racing and the brand new Centre Course Party Enclosure, there is no better way to start the New Year celebrations with all your friends and family.

Impulsive Star and Sam Waley-Cohen provided a thrilling performance in the 2019 McCoy Contractors Civil EngineeringClassic Chase, Warwick’s most prestigious race. A date for your New Year diary is Saturday 11th January when the Classic returns. Who will take their place in the history books of Warwick’s feature raceday? Only the future can tell.
