Q&A

Currently, I am working on a range of exciting public events, including a 2 day festival, a fireworks display, and a drive-in cinema experience. I am collaborating closely with various departments to ensure that each event is executed smoothly and delivers a memorable experience for our attendees. By working alongside teams across the venue, I am helping to bring these events to life, ensuring they are engaging, well-coordinated, and align with the vision we have for each occasion.

What I enjoy most about my role is creating tailored quotes for unique and memorable events, bringing each customer's vision to life while opening the doors of our racecourse to the public in a welcoming and distinctive way. I take pride in the opportunity each event presents to craft a meaningful experience, ensuring our venue is enjoyed by a diverse range of guests, no matter the occasion.

I would love to see more family and community events hosted at Jockey Club Venues, particularly ones that make the most of the great outdoor spaces we have available. These events would offer the perfect opportunity for families and local communities to come together in a relaxed, open-air setting, enjoying the stunning surroundings and creating lasting memories. Whether it's a local festival, a fun-filled family day, or a community celebration, hosting such events would not only make the venue more accessible but also strengthen a sense of connection and shared experience among guests of all ages.

A surprising fact about me is that I’m the only expat on my team, which means I bring a little extra global flair to the mix! On top of that, I’ve visited over 30 cities around the world, picking up unique experiences and stories along the way. All that traveling has not only broadened my perspective but also helps me bring fresh, creative ideas to the table—bridging cultural gaps and adding a bit of spice to our team dynamic!

My perfect dinner date would be hosting a relaxed BBQ with close friends. It’s all about enjoying good food, great company, and casual conversation in a laid-back atmosphere. The combination of grilling, laughter, and shared moments makes for a memorable and fun evening.
