What is the Parade Ring?
The Parade Ring – or the paddock – is the place where horses due to race prepare to meet their jockeys and parade in front of racegoers. You can also go to see them in the pre-parade ring where they warm up and prepare to be saddled.
What is the Winners Enclosure?
Sometimes situated within the Parade Ring, the Winners’ Enclosure is the place where winning and placed horses are reunited with their proud owners. Here, the winning owner, trainer and jockey are awarded with trophies by the VIP guests or sponsors.
