Music nights at Sandown Park Racecourse are back for 2023! Marking his return to the historic course after his outstanding 2017 performance, international icon TOM JONES will perform a full headline set after racing on Wednesday 26th July. Expect to hear hits from his huge repertoire, spanning genres and generations including ‘Kiss’, ‘Delilah’ and ‘It’s Not Unusual’.

About Tom Jones

 

Along with sustaining his popularity as a live performer and recording artist for more than six decades, he continues to garner critical acclaim, including with the release of his most recent album, ‘Surrounded By Time’. The album made him the oldest male to claim a number 1 spot on the UK Official Album Chart with an album of new material, overtaking Bob Dylan.

 

It is the most recent high point in a career full of highlights, including a deeply cherished knighthood from Her Majesty the Queen in 2006. Other highlights of his long career include receiving multiple BRIT Awards, a Silver Clef Award for Lifetime Achievement, the Hitmaker Award from the [US] Songwriters Hall of Fame, GQ Man Of The Year, and the prestigious [UK] Music Industry Trusts Award.

Paper Cups 

 

If you purchase a drink at our Tom Jones Music Evening then you will receive your drink in one of our brand new paper cups. We are using paper cups at this fixture in order to encourage our customers to recycle their cups when finishing their drinks. The cups are single use, plastic and PFAS free, and are manufactured in the UK. All of these things help us move towards a more sustainable approach to racedays, so please place these cups in our many recyclying bins across the site.
