Nottingham Racecourse is delighted to announce a brand-new partnership with historic local brewery for the highly anticipated Shipstone’s Beer Festival Race Night on Friday 12th April.

As part of this new collaboration, Shipstone’s will be sponsoring four races on the card, bringing together the best of live racing and craft beer for a fun festival atmosphere.

With a brewing history dating back to 1852, Shipstone’s is an iconic name in Nottingham’s beer scene, renowned for crafting high-quality brews that bring people together. Their signature range, rooted in original recipes from their historic archives, will ensure that every pint served on race night embodies craftsmanship, tradition and excellence.

The partnership with Nottingham Racecourse offers an opportunity to highlight this tradition in a setting that resonates the same sense of heritage and entertainment.

Rachel Squires, General Manager for Nottingham Racecourse, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Shipstone’s as our new race sponsor for this fantastic event.

"Their deep-rooted Nottingham heritage and passion for brewing make them an ideal partner to help us create an incredible festival experience for our racegoers.”

Richard Neale, Managing Directors of Shipstone's, added: “We’re thrilled to partner with Nottingham Racecourse to bring you an evening beer festival celebrating our range of Shipstone’s beers.

"As a small brewery with a big brand legacy, we’re passionate about our craft—and teaming up with such a dynamic local sporting and entertainment venue perfectly captures our spirit.

"Together, we’re a testament to enduring quality, standing the test of time.”
