NEWMARKET NAMED IN THE TOP 15 RACECOURSES IN THE UK
Newmarket Racecourses is delighted to announce that the July Course has been ranked in the top 15 racecourses in the UK for 2024, along with receiving three RCA Excellence Accolades.
The racecourses offering Britain’s highest-rated customer experience in 2024 have been confirmed by the AA as results of the Racecourse Association’s annual Quality Assured Racecourse Scheme (QARS) are published.
In alphabetical order, the leading racecourses for customer experience in 2024 were: Aintree, Ascot, Chelmsford City, Cheltenham, Chester, Doncaster, Hamilton Park, Haydock Park, Kelso, Market Rasen, Musselburgh, Newbury, Newmarket, Perth and York.
Each racecourse listed above scored 89% or higher in the assessment, with the top scoring racecourse scoring 96%.
Newmarket’s July Course also won RCA Excellence Accolades for “Staff Customer Service”, “Spotless & Sparkling” and “Lovely Loos”.

Newmarket’s Rowley Mile also won the award in 2023, with each course assessed in alternate years. The season kicks off with the bet365 Craven Meeting on Tuesday 15th to Thursday 17th April, which is followed by the first classic of the season, the Betfred Guineas Festival on Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th May. The July Course season runs throughout June, July and August, with the Newmarket Nights series showcasing several famed artists, including Tom Jones, Natasha Bedingfield and Sugababes.
