Newmarket Racecourses is delighted to confirm bet365 as the Official Betting Partner for the Moët and Chandon July Festival taking place on Newmarket’s Adnams July Course from Thursday, 13th to Saturday, 15th July.
Following the success of the inaugural bet365 Craven Meeting, bet365 have grown their sponsorship portfolio further at Newmarket Racecourses to include all three days of the Moët and Chandon July Festival in a three-year deal.
The Moët and Chandon July Festival is the highlight of the summer season at Newmarket Racecourses and includes seven Group races over the Festival including the Darley July Cup on the Saturday, Europe’s best sprint race based on official ratings in 2016.
As part of the new contract, bet365 will sponsor a total of seven races over the Festival with highlights including; two Heritage Handicaps on the Thursday and Saturday, the bet365 Handicap Stakes and the bet365 Bunbury Cup respectively, with both contests totalling £220,000 in Prize Money; the Group 2 Duchess of Cambridge Stakes (sponsored by bet365) which has often been an initial proving ground for fillies who have gone on to be successful in subsequent Classic races and Group 1 contests during their three-year-old campaign the following year; and the Group 2 bet365 Superlative Stakes on Saturday, with winning graduates including Olympic Glory and Dubawi.
