Competition Terms & Conditions

1. The Promoter is Godolphin Management Company Limited, Dalham Hall Stud, Duchess Drive, Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 9HE, England (the “Promoter”).

2. This competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person is allowed.

3. This competition starts Thursday 2nd May and closes 11:59pm Thursday 23rd May.

4. To qualify to enter the Competition you must be a resident in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and/or the Isle of Man.

5. The Competition is only open to entrants over the age of 18.

6. The winner will be picked at random on Tuesday 28th May and notified via email or telephone. Confirmation of acceptance of the prize must be made by Tuesday 4th June. Failure to claim the prize will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner before selection of an alternative winner is made.

7. The prize comprises of four hospitality tickets to Festival Friday on Friday 12th July (with guest access to The Rose Terrace), a tour for four to the Dalham Hall Stud and a Godolphin merchandise goodie bag, with only one winner. The prize cannot be exchanged for any alternatives. All prizes issued under this promotion are strictly non-transferrable and must not be offered for resale.

8. This promotion is not open to employees of the The Jockey Club or the Promoter, their families, agents, clients, suppliers, retailers, merchants or associates.

9. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter, vary, suspend or withdraw this promotion as the Promoter deems necessary in its absolute sole discretion.

10. The Promoter shall have the right in its absolute sole discretion to substitute any prize with one of equivalent or greater value. The prize or its alternative must be accepted as offered. No cash alternative will be offered in whole or in part in connection with this promotion.

11. By entering this Competition, you understand that for the purposes of administering prize fulfilment, is necessary for The Jockey Club and the Promoter to hold and process your personal data.

12. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing that the personal information that you provided is processed in accordance with The Jockey Club’s Privacy Policy.

13. Data relating to entrants of the Competition will be retained by The Jockey Club for a reasonable period after the Competition closes to assist The Jockey Club to operate competitions in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries in the Competition. The winner agrees to the release of their first initial and surname and county of residence to any other prize draw participants if requested via The Jockey Club.

14. The Competition and Rules will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. Where the site and/or the Interactive Services are accessed from Scotland or Northern Ireland, this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts or the courts of Northern Ireland respectively.
