The Henry Cecil Open Weekend - Saturday

The Henry Cecil Open Weekend is looking forward to welcoming visitors to British horseracing’s headquarters on Saturday 20th September 2025.

Access and tours to some of Newmarket’s finest equine establishments are available on Saturday 20th September including The National Stud, Newmarket Equine Hospital (NEH), Godolphin Rehoming, Injured Jockeys Fund Peter O’Sullevan House, British Racing School, National Horseracing Museum, Jockey Club Rooms and a talk at Tattersalls.

Racing at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile Racecourse also takes place on Saturday 20th September featuring the Cesarewitch Trial. This meeting forms part of Autumn Racing at Newmarket Racecourse when Newmarket truly becomes the hub for global flat racing.
