The Jockey Club Live are delighted to announce Tom Jones will be headlining four racecourse shows this summer on his forthcoming Defy Explanation tour. Due to demand from fans across the country, the dates will see Tom Jones make return visits to the historic and picturesque racecourses for a full headline show, following an afternoon of thrilling racing.

Since 2014, The Jockey Club Live events have become a summer home-from-home for Tom Jones. With the addition of this year’s shows, he will have played a mammoth 14 dates at racecourses across the country, entertaining over 100,000 fans and becoming the series most prolific headliner.

He will play the following dates across July and August -

FRIDAY 4^TH JULY – HAYDOCK PARK RACECOURSE, MERSEYSIDE

WEDNESDAY 30^TH JULY – SANDOWN PARK RACECOURSE, SURREY

FRIDAY 1^ST AUGUST– NEWMARKET RACECOURSES, SUFFOLK

SATURDAY 16^TH AUGUST – MARKET RASEN RACECOURSE, LINCOLNSHIRE

An odds-on favourite for all, The Jockey Club Live offers a value for money experience unlike any other. Alongside show-stopping headline performances by some of the world’s biggest artists, the action kicks off earlier in the day with a six-race card. In addition to world-class live music and an electric evening at the races, the events provide a selection of culinary delights for all, ranging from street food to exceptional restaurants.

The Jockey Club Live will be hosting live concerts after racing at racecourses across the country including Sandown Park, Market Rasen, Carlisle, Warwick, Newmarket, Aintree and Haydock Park in 2025.
