Take your picnic to our designated picnic area!

If you're bringing along a picnic for the day, it must be consumed within the Picnic Enclosure – situated next to the track in the Grandstand.

The Picnic Enclosure is the perfect spot for soaking up the summer atmosphere, situated next to the track with views of the racecourse. If you're bringing along a picnic for the day, it must be consumed within this area.

We encourage the use of picnic rugs but we do not allow guests to bring tables, chairs, gazebos or other items of furniture onto the racecourse. There are picnic benches within the Picnic Enclosure but as this area can become busy we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.

Alcohol can only be brought in with a substantial picnic and it is limited to half a 750ml bottle of wine, Champagne or prosecco per person or four cans of beer, cider or pre-mixed aperitif.

A substantial picnic is considered to include a sandwich or equivalent plus a snack per person, as a minimum. View the full Alcohol Policy here.
