KICK START THE JUMP SEASON AT HAYDOCK PARK

 

The Betfair Chase returns on Saturday 22 November as we kick the Jump season into another gear at Haydock Park and across the UK.

 

As the first Grade One chase of the campaign, the Betfair Chase is a race that not only attracts a bumper crowd but also potential Cheltenham Gold Cup contenders with the legendary Kauto Star regularly using this race on his way to further success at The Cheltenham Festival.

BETFAIR CHASE HISORY

 

The Betfair Chase was first run in 2005 and was established as a Grade 1 race, making it one of the top events in the National Hunt racing calendar.

The race has consistently held its Grade 1 status, attracting some of the best chasers in the world. Many of the top trainers and jockeys eagerly target this event each year.

 

Over the years, the Betfair Chase has seen some legendary racehorses and jockeys grace its track. Horses like Kauto Star, who won the race multiple times, have left an indelible mark on its history. Other notable winners include Cue Card, Silviniaco Conti, and Bristol De Mai.

 

The race continues to be a highly anticipated event in the National Hunt racing calendar, attracting top-quality horses, trainers, and jockeys. Delivering thrilling and memorable moments, it's place as one of the highlights of the British racing season continues.
