Throughout the seasonal period we have a number of top Grade 1 racing fixtures that will help you celebrate the season in style and blow away the cobwebs come New Year. Away from the racetrack, there is entertainment aplenty and delicious seasonal food and drink options.

There’s no better way to celebrate over the festive season than with a visit to one of the racecourses at The Jockey Club’s Christmas racedays. From the Betfair Tingle Creek Festival at Sandown Park to the Christmas Meeting at Cheltenham, December is action-packed with top class racing and that’s before the Christmas holidays even arrive.

Boxing Day offers up the opportunity to experience some truly iconic racing across the country, from the historic King George VI Chase at Kempton Park’s Ladbrokes Christmas Festival and Boxing Day Racing at Aintree, Market Rasen and Wincanton. 

Cheltenham hosts seven quality races on New Year’s Day, while Exeter celebrates the great Devon tradition of an outing to the races to kick start the New Year.
