PLANNING A PICNIC?
Picnics at fixtures excluding The Derby Festival
- We ask you not to bring any food or drink on to the course - including alcohol and picnics - unless otherwise stated in the specific raceday information.
Picnics at The Derby Festival
- Customers in the Grandstand or Queen Elizabeth II Stand enclosures are not allowed to bring their own food or drink into the racecourse. However there are a number of outlets available around the site selling food and drink.
- Racegoers on the inside of the track, on the Hill, Lonsdale, Upper Tattenham or in the Bus Enclosures, are permitted to bring alcohol in with a substantial picnic, limited to half of a 750ml bottle of wine, champagne or prosecco per person or four cans of beer, cider or pre-mixed aperitif. Spirits, fortified wines and Pimm's or similar will not be allowed into the enclosures. Please remember to drink responsibly.
Enclosures & stands
Choose your raceday experience
The type of ticket you buy will grant you access to different enclosures and stands. Some will give you a grandstand view of all the action on the course. Others provide more specialist views – of the finish line perhaps, or offering easy access to restaurants, bars and hospitality suites.
