At Cheltenham Racecourse...

We take pride in serving food made from the finest British-grown ingredients. We’re committed to sustainability, making thoughtful changes in how we source and serve every dish from retail areas to hospitality experiences.

By partnering with local suppliers, we ensure freshness and support our community—all while delivering an exceptional experience.

Our Suppliers

  • Local sourcing means fresher fish. No part of the country is far from one of our local fishmonger businesses, ensuring you receive the freshest fish daily. Where we have to source internationally we do so directly with the fisherman or farm as we possibly can.
  • Sourcing fish responsibly is paramount to our business. We passionately believe in promoting wild – sustainable, or responsibly farmed species
  • Based in Westbury-on-Severn, Severn & Wye Smokery work closely with suppliers to source fish responsibly. The Smokery has made a number of efforts to match their responsibility with their approach to sustainability by reducing their use of fossil fuels, installing biomass boilers and wastewater purifiers.
  • Located in Cheltenham, this bakery uses traditional methods and a highly skilled team of bakers. This Bakery has a school and pop-up shop, Six Chimneys Bakery, who strive to produce flavour packed baked goods using local ingredients for local people.
  • Hobbs House Bakery believe there are some things you can't rush. All their bread and confectionery is made by hand with true care and attention, many using 'overnight' fermentation for a deeper flavour and a better rise.
  • Thatcham Butchers was founded in 1985 by Graham Wilks, originating in a small retail shop in Thatcham, Berkshire. The quality of the fresh English meat ultimately led to an interest from the catering trade and the business grew very quickly. Sustained growth required much bigger premises and a move to the purpose built factory in Arnhem Road, Newbury was facilitated in 2004 and therefore the move to service the Catering industry was completed.
  • The Heritage Fine Food Company is a SALSA certified wholesaler based in Wiltshire who provide Cheltenham with fresh fruit and vegetables. They work closely with nearby growers to source the best seasonal produce, helping reduce food miles and ensure that our customers receive top-quality, locally-grown produce.
  • The main ethos of this family-run business is sustainable ethical production. They work directly with specific farms to ensure they have full insight into the whole process ensuring high standards are met, from the quality of the product to the welfare of the farmers.
  • The Weavers have been farming in the Cotswolds for three generations, and in the South West of England since before 1570. They proudly follow a traditional method of organic farming and place great store in caring for land and animal welfare.
  • Four Anjels are an award-winning bakery based on the edge of the Cotswolds that makes delicious cakes, biscuits and more. They source their ingredients locally and only use free range eggs and wherever possible avoid unnecessary artificial additives in our ingredients and recipes.
  • Pivotal Foods is a supplier of handmade patisserie and appetiser products, specialising in providing a high level of consistency for large numbers within the hospitality industry.
  • ChalkStream®️ sources fine English trout on the world famous Test and Itchen Rivers in Hampshire. Slow grown for 2 years in farms built on fast flowing pure chalk stream water, the trout are fit and lean with a unique, clean taste.

  • UK freshwater trout has been rated 'Best Choice' by the Marine Conservation Society who promote trout as a sustainable alternative to salmon.
