We are very pleased to announce a genuinely exciting new membership product that provides businesses with the chance to mix work and pleasure!

 

The Garrison Savannah Business Club is a new corporate membership, where in addition to traditional annual membership privileges club members will be extended invites to bespoke networking occasions, and secure discounts off race day hospitality and venue bookings.

 

The networking events are being promoted together as “Galopin’ Get Togethers” see proposed event list below...

 

To include the likes of a Cheese and Wine evening in The Weighing Room, a race day breakfast in The Mandarin, Pizza Night at Race Night and several others, as well as invites to the racecourse’s very successful Business Breakfasts, run in partnership with Circle2Success.

 

Business Club members will also be provided with complimentary admission to a selection of the country’s finest race days including Betfair Chase at Haydock, B365 Chase at Sandown and the Thursday of the Grand National.

 

The Garrison Savannah Business Club goes on sale at the beginning of August.

Why Garrison Savannah?


If the name conjures up visions of sandy beaches, blue skies and luxury it is because Garrison Savannah is the name of Caribbean Island Barbados' famous racecourse. It’s where many of us would end up if we achieve our business dreams.

 

However, the inspiration for the Club’s name is actually closer to home. Garrison Savannah was successful in the 1991 Cheltenham Gold Cup; he was a rare, locally owned winner. He was prepared by one of the most inspirational and charismatic racehorse trainers of all time, Jenny Pitman. Her son, Mark, took the ride. In his Gold Cup win, he beat two former Champions and two future winners of the race. A unique feat.

 

Garrison Savannah is buried in the centre of the racecourse and is a regarded by the team at Cheltenham as a true legend.
