Charles St has provided the Racing Club with many memorable moments over the previous two years, thrilling us with a win over an extended 2m4 1/2f at Market Rasen in November 2023. He is a proper character horse and is much loved by Racing Club members. He rarely misses a place (and is famous for it!) Last season his campaign over hurdles saw him compete between 2 miles and over 3 miles. His jumping goes from strength to strength and has been schooling well over fences. We look forward to following his chasing career, which is due to commence soon. As his many Group race winning family members have shown, he is expected to get better as he gets older.

Flight Of Freedom was purchased before the 22/23 season with the assistance of bloodstock agent, Gerry Hogan in Ireland from the well-regarded Marie Harding (Glen Stables) who has had great recent success with the likes of Noble Yeats & Lookaway.

We have enjoyed following Flight of Freedom’s early career over hurdles, which at times, has looked extremely promising and we look forward to seeing her chase during the 2024/25 season. She is a genuinely lovely mare, with a beautiful nature and Emma is convinced that bigger fences will be her making. Her maiden win came in October at Warwick. She also has run two solid second places behind seriously good horses Favour and Fortune (winner of the Scottish Champion Hurdle) and Cheltenham winning mare, Dysart Enos.

The Son of Pether’s Moon is a well-bred National Hunt Gelding who learnt plenty in his formative years. With some very pleasing runs over hurdles under his belt we look forward to his chasing career. He’s certainly a horse for the future and both Joe and Colin think he will make a sterling chaser. His performances over hurdles have been mixed but he was massively impressive winning at Exeter in November and then ran a great third place at Aintree behind Festival runner up, Kyntara. A big strong slow maturing type we expect a fun novice chasing campaign this winter.
