Available to those in the Club Enclosure, Owners and Trainers and to Cheltenham’s Annual Members, The Orchard offers a fun, unique area from which to enjoy the racing - a first in British horseracing.

Inspired by The Birdcage at the Melbourne Cup at Flemington Racecourse, Australia, The Orchard provides the opportunity for the racecourse to work with partners to allow racegoers an additional, premium experience alongside the racing.

Seven different partners to be based in the area include Bentley Motors, who are celebrating their imminent centenary through a display of their cars alongside comprehensive hospitality. Four different models will be presented, including the new Continental GT Convertible

100 per cent authentic Irish cider Magners, the presenting partner to The Festival and exclusive Gold Cup sponsor, have created 'Ciderland’ celebrating the very best of Cheltenham and Irishness at the leading Anglo-Irish event in the UK.

Boodles, sponsors of the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle (registered as the Fred Winter) will display their jewellery – a great place to visit after placing a winning bet!

John Lewis and Partners will be hosting a beauty lounge for all those make-up essentials, English Sparkling wine producer Nyetimber will be represented with their Routemaster bus, which doubles as a bar, and Glenfarclas Single Malt Whisky will have a cocktail bar.

Ian Renton, Regional Director of the South-West region of The Jockey Club commented: “We have been working on bringing The Orchard to life for a few years now and I am really excited that at this year’s Festival our dream will become a reality.

“All of our partners are doing some really fun activations, so whether it be a whisky cocktail in the Glenfarclas Cocktail Bar or a make-up touch-up, courtesy of John Lewis I am sure this will be an essential area to visit.”

Also positioned in The Orchard is the popular Gin and Jazz Bar, which offers racegoers the chance to enjoy jazz performances through the afternoon from All Stars featuring Sara Dowling, as well as a cocktail bar. Tickets for this start from £125.

Jason Ash, Chief Marketing Officer at C&C Group, owners of Magners, commented: “We are hugely excited and proud to be the Presenting Partner of The Festival and exclusive sponsor of The Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup. The Festival experience is unique and loved by racing fans around the world. Cheltenham holds a special place in the hearts of the Irish and as the 100 per cent authentic Irish cider, we are delighted to enhance the craic, spontaneity and goods times during The Festival at the Magners Ciderland in the newly created Orchard.

For Bentley, Angharad Rees-Hadley, Event Coordinator UK, said: “Bentley has enjoyed an affinity partnership with The Jockey Club since 2016. 2019 is Bentley’s 100th year, and as part of our celebration we will showcase our heritage as well as our latest models in The Orchard

“We are also offering an opportunity to experience Bentley hospitality within our exclusive ‘1919 Bar and Lounge’, where guests can enjoy Bentley themed cocktails, a menu inspired by the 1927 Le Mans victory dinner at the Savoy and themed entertainment.”

Martin Bundy, Cheltenham Branch Manager for John Lewis & Partners added: “As a new resident in town John Lewis & Partners are delighted to be launching a beauty and fragrance lounge within The Orchard. Do pop in to see us for a complimentary make-up touch-up and perhaps purchase a new fragrance for The Festival.”
