Free Draw Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter is The Jockey Club, 21-27 Lambs Conduit Street, London, WC1N 3NL. (the “Promoter”).
2. This Draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person is allowed.
3. This Draw starts Friday 17th May and closes 11:59pm Thursday 30th May.
4. To qualify to enter the Competition you must be a resident in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and/or the Isle of Man.
5. The Competition is only open to entrants over the age of 18.
6. The winner will be picked at random on Friday 31st May and notified via email or telephone. Confirmation of acceptance of the prize must be made by Tuesday 18th June. Failure to claim the prize will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner before selection of an alternative winner is made.
7. The prize comprises of one annual membership for the 2023-24 season at Cheltenham Racecourse. All prizes issued under this promotion are strictly non-transferable and must not be offered for resale.
8. This promotion is not open to employees of The Jockey Club or the Promoter, their families, agents, clients, suppliers, retailers, merchants or associates.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter, vary, suspend or withdraw this promotion as the Promoter deems necessary in its absolute sole discretion.
10. The Promoter shall have the right in its absolute sole discretion to substitute any prize with one of equivalent or greater value. The prize or its alternative must be accepted as offered. No cash alternative will be offered in whole or in part in connection with this promotion.
11. By entering this Draw, you understand that for the purposes of administering prize fulfilment, is necessary for The Jockey Club and the Promoter to hold and process your personal data.
12. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing that the personal information that you provided is processed in accordance with The Jockey Club’s Privacy Policy.
13. Data relating to entrants of the Draw will be retained by The Jockey Club for a reasonable period after the Draw closes to assist The Jockey Club to operate draws and competitions in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries in the Draw. The winner agrees to the release of their first initial and surname and county of residence to any other Draw participants if requested via The Jockey Club.
14. The Draw and Rules will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. Where the site and/or the Interactive Services are accessed from Scotland or Northern Ireland, this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts or the courts of Northern Ireland respectively.
