Natasha Jonas became the first British female boxer to qualify for the Olympics after reaching the semi-finals of the 2012 World Championships. Since then the 39 year old, who grew up in Toxteth in Liverpool, has turned professional and in February of last year became world champion when knocking out Uruguayan opponent Christian Namus.
She then went on to win the WBC and IBF super-welterweight titles to add to her glittering amateur career, which included a bronze medal in the lightweight division at the 2012 AIBA World Championships; bronze in the light welterweight division at the 2011 European Championships; and silver in the light welterweight division at the 2014 European Championships.
