Part of the excitement of the Randox Grand National is the unexpected twists and turns of the event. The high fences and fast pace means that inevitably some horses pull up and can’t continue, and some jockeys are unhorsed and do not finish the race. There’s everything to play for in this unpredictable race, where the favourite to win could fall at the first hurdle!
In 2019 over half of those competing did not complete the course. See below for the 2019 Grand National fallers and non-finishers.
